Hiatus
For those that by chance pass by this page and happen to be some kind of 'fan' or person who enjoys my 'dj sets' when i spin out, I will be taking a hiatus from the nightclub scene til about april of 2011. Namas Té will also go into 'break' mode during this time. A lot of things that led up to this break ..... particularly the treatment i have encountered with a few 'producer-wannabes' who still owe me for my time, effort and performance. Anywho, i am taking this time to wrap up a couple of EP's in the works for the Electronic Dance Music productions as well as my 2nd 'musician' album. So it's all good.. :)
Meanwhile i will keep promoting myself and found this other link/site where u can do just that... check it out:

On the eve of the 31st president Evo Morales rescinded from decret 748. All went back to the way it used to be --- those who got caught on the road with their pants down with the gas prices in the 2 days before def felt it. Many business owners as well as regular folk went to buy insane amounts of sugar, flour, grains, and many basic food elements from everywhere preparing for the worst as well as preparing to make money later with their stock; cab and independent public transportation also took advantage and charged doubled prices for fares. Yes, protests... demonstrations all around, public space and building vandalism was also at hand. The media (mostly opposition) had a ball with this and of course (in my opinion) instigated unrest/chaos/panic towards the government and didn't help matters much. Of course there are various theories for and against this move..........will we ever know the truth? no, tis the way politics works everywhere. So, things went back to 'normal' and once again the people were heard and just have to go at it in another not-so-radical way.
People here (the small 'white' percentage) have a problem that an indigenous man is in power - i'm sure the fact that he is single (along with the vice president) also poses an insecurity to all the sheep that think it's not a exemplary traditional way of life. These people got problems.... do THEY even know what they want? nope...just like to bitch and feel insecure about their identity. It goes beyond politics, beyond Evo, beyond socialism; and for goodness sake......... they are educated!!! they've been to universities.. they've travelled outside and still have this identity crisis. "Indio/india de mierda, cholo, negro" and all derogatory adjectives come out of their mouth which is the same mouth they use to kiss their mothers... now i'm not just talking about towards the govt, but everyday life towards friends/enemies. The flip-side, i'm also aware, are the indigenous resented name calling and hating the 'whities' for all the past/current history. What do you do ? not even the next few generations will see the improvement of this situation. It makes me think of the song by Supertramp 'Hide in Your Shell' cause that's what i'd like to do........not to mention all the crap that's going on in the world. And yet these same 'educated' folk are still procreating - wtf?
Anywho, my new years was spent just the way i envisioned it: in the studio finishing up some songs having a couple of beers catching a nice buzz and then at around 2am went to visit some friends who where having a gathering at home. Then went to a party to basically pick up my brother and say to a couple of friends - came home at 4am and went to sleep. Excellent - 2011 is here and we just continue to make the best of everyday with lots of art, work, and music.

2011
It's been a bit wild down in La Paz, Bolivia these last few days. My people's dont' have a lo of patience and all of a sudden the 'rich' /middle class(if you will) have an interest on the poor people because of the natural resources increase. How fucked up is it that when you are around these people and they are bitchin that the 'poor are going to suffer the most, this govt is so evil...yad yadayadayada' but then they are so free to make a racist comment only a few minutes afterwards pertaining to another subject matter, but it just so happens that it's convenient to mention the indian background in this conversation without any hesitation.
`Bolivians are fucked up - never pleased, complainers, great hearts, sour, team-orientated when it's beneficial to them ---- i mean, i love Bolivia but my people's have a lot to learn about respect and patience. I have faith because i see it in their eyes daily that it is in there, but it is scared to come out and be nice.
Happy new year to all those who are still positive and fighting towards a more conciouss surrounding.
